We have a fun Read Across America Week ahead.  Thanks for our Literacy Committee for the planned events.  The schedules for our Author and Fireflies visits are below.

Author Visit Schedule- March 2nd
8:15-8:45: PK-2^nd
9:00-9:45:  3^rd-5^th
Come to the Media Center

Fireflies Visit Schedule- March 3rd
10:00-10:15 - 2nd & 3rd grades
10:20-10:35 - Prek & Kindergarten
10:40-10:55 - 4th grade
11:00-11:15 - 1st grade
11:15-11:30 - 5th grade
Bring your classes to Room 307

If you didn't have an opportunity to read the article shared by MaryLu on Friday, please do so.  It is a thought proving article about what many of our students and families could be facing.  What hit home for me is that our school is a safe haven.  A safe haven for all. 

Mrs. Graham will be administering Performance Task Training on Monday and Tuesday.  Please remind your students to move quietly in the hallways so that those students are not disturbed.  Thank you!
