HUGE thanks to the Sunshine Committee for the great snacks on Monday and coverage for teachers to enjoy their lunch on Tuesday.  That was a welcome and appreciated treat/break from the wild week before. 

Our Author visits will be on next Monday, November 14th.  A heads up as you begin planning for next week, we will run the abbreviated club day schedule so that the visits don't interfere entirely with a grade level team planning.  The schedule is below.

Please help our custodians in the afternoon by having your students stack their chairs and pick up pencils, crayons, paper, etc from the floor.  If we want the GCA folks to help us by providing clean classrooms, lets help them by having our students do their part to be responsible for their mess.  With that being said I realize that the cleaning on the 2nd-5th grade hall has not been great lately.  That has prompted some turnover.  You've probably seen new GCA folks in our building over the last few days.  We will continue with that pattern for another week until our full time replacement is trained.  I'll keep you posted once that person is on board.  Please continue to write any issues with cleaning in the book.  It is located in the GCA box in the main office.  You can also email me your concerns.  

The PTO needs all the help they can get pushing out information for the upcoming Auction and BBQ supper.  We need 126 BBQ orders to make a profit on the dinner.  We will have a Shealy's BBQ order form (purple) in your boxes on Monday.  Please send these home with your students.  

Reminders from the week:

• Just a reminder that the receipts, for the $275.00 supply check, are due no later than November 30, 2016.  Bring your receipts to Ms. Cindy as soon as you have them.  If you have any questions please let her know.
• Leadership Minutes have been posted to OneNote.  Leadership team, take some time and go over those notes with your grade level teams.  If you have questions, please let me know.
